Everything changed for Nathan Cole on Memorial Day 2024. At only 31, Nathan, a decorated Marine Aviator and former Infantry Corpsman with the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.)
Over 12 years of Naval service and two deployments in support of the Global War on Terror have shaped his perspective on resilience, purpose, and urgency. But nothing could have prepared him for this!
Beyond his professional background, Nathan is a son, brother, and husband to Kara, his wife of seven years. He is also a very proud father to two incredible kids, both under the age of three.
Rather than surrender to this horrible disease, Nathan has decided to fight yet another battle! He launched a mission of his own: @cortexatherapeutics.
